What this site is
This site publishes guides, comparisons and reference material about AI model APIs and the cost of using them. It is educational. It is not financial, legal, procurement or professional advice, and you should not treat it as the sole basis for a purchasing decision.
About the prices we publish
We publish API prices for models from OpenAI, Anthropic and Google. Every pricing page shows the date those figures were last checked and links to the vendor's own pricing page.
We take accuracy seriously, and we check these figures against the vendors' published prices rather than third-party trackers. But vendors change prices without notice, and our pages are only as current as the date shown on them.
Before you commit real money, confirm the figure on the vendor's own pricing page. Our numbers are a guide for comparison, not a quotation, and we are not liable for decisions made on the basis of a price that changed after we checked it.
The same applies to our token calculator, which produces estimates. Actual costs depend on how a model tokenises your specific text, and on your own usage patterns.
Using our content
You are welcome to read, share and link to anything on this site, and to quote short passages with attribution and a link back.
You may not republish whole articles, translate and republish them, or present our material as your own. The content on this site is our copyright.
You may not use automated tools to scrape the site in a way that degrades it for other people. Reasonable, well-behaved crawling is fine.
